Art 458: Branding and Identity
This project required me to build a brand identity for a cause that pertains to some aspect of human rights. My focus was on the Prison Industrial Complex (PIC) and it’s cyclic nature that primarily harms the Black community. The PIC is essentially, the industrialization and privatization of prisons. America houses 4.25% of the world’s population but almost 25% of the world’s prisoners. Break The Chain is a hypothetical organization developed for this project to create a branded movement concerning the negative impacts of the Prison Industrial Complex.
